Tyler, Texas, Nursing Home Undergoes $1.5 Million European Renovation

Park Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center wants to bring the feeling of Europe to its residents' lives.
Two weeks ago the center launched a rehabilitation program estimated to cost about $1.5 million. Bob Greenlaw and Jenny King, two of the facility's owners and operators, said all of the work should be completed prior to the Texas Rose Festival. The center will celebrate its Grand Reopening the week of Oct. 10.
"The theme is, 'Park Place goes European,'" Greenlaw said.
