Speech Therapy

Speech Therapy at Park Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center treats the speech, language and voice disorders related to such conditions as strokes, Parkinson's or other neurological conditions. In addition, we offer a range of treatments to assist individuals with dysphagia or swallowing difficulties. Park Place is pleased to offer the state of the art swallow treatment, VITAL STIM (r) Therapy. This treatment assists individuals with their ability to eat, drink and receive proper nutrition. After an initial evaluation, our speech therapist designs a plan of care to address communication or swallowing skills for each individual. Family members are taught proper strategies and techniques to assist their loved one's care.
